Suddenly on Friday, July 1, 2016, Peter James Rice, age 63, passed away at Evergreen Hamlets his care residence in Surrey for the past 12 years. Peter was diagnosed with MS over 35 years ago and despite diagnosis he kept his wicked sense of humour, which kept his three brothers laughing on their Sunday morning visits and his daughter entertained on her visits with her Dad. He was always very well liked in the care facilities where he lived for the past 14 years. Pete was predeceased by his parents Dora and Ernest (White Rock) and wife Adria (Hope). He leaves to mourn, his son Dustin (Irina), daughter Laurel (Adam), two grandsons Andre and Dylan, his family siblings: Wayne (Marilyn), Wendy, Paul (Uwe), Dennis (Patricia), David (Jo-Ann), Kim (Brian), Stephen (Lisa) and Tammy. Cremation, internment at Sunnyside Lawn Cemetery. A family memorial yet to be decided.
