Ray passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 18th, 2008. He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend, Josie, loving children Sandra, Donna(Don), Ray Jr., Ian(Val), and Beverly(Lee). Also survived by his loving mother Mae, brothers Victor(Sharon), Barry, Kevin(Bonnie), and sisters Iris and Sharon(Dwayne), as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and friends. Pre-deceased by his father Vic, step-mother Joyce and brother Dennis.
Ray was born in Kenora, Ontario and moved to BC in 1936. The majority of his career was spent in the forest industry at International Forest Products for 35 years, finally retiring in 1995. As an avid outdoorsman, Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
A celebration of Ray's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray's name can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
