Handsome gentleman, Dumalanede, Robert.
His life is grieved and celebrated by his devoted wife, Paule, sisters, Lucy and Josette, family Veronique,Grant, Janine, Sylvie, Angelo, Richard, Synthia, Eric and Michael. Friends, Calgary Road Runners, Phoenix cycling club, Elm road neighbours on and on.
Occupation evolved from fur pelt apprentice, metro conductor, airport attendant, outback surveyor assistant, northern seismic team, to senior geophysicist.
Accomplishments were cross-country runner, marathoner, triathlete, woodcarver on and on.
Since his boy-scout years in Switzerland he had a passion for nature and wilderness. He experienced it in the French Algerian war, Australian outback and Canadian west. His life was an example to go for your dreams, to face difficulty with exceptance, kindness, and growth, and feel alive in the best time.
He leaves a great void amongst us yet it is gentle.
