It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Sara.
She is survived by her mother Susane, and brother Nathan; and predeceased by father Alan.
Celebration of Life services were held Sunday, December 10 at Langley Community Music School Langley,
In her 45 years, Sara shared much laughter and many good times with her family and friends. Her big smile and sharp wit endeared her to all who met her. She loved reading, all types of puzzles, video games, her two cats Elliot and Jake.
Sara grew up in Harrison Hot Springs BC, and upon graduating with her degree in Social Work from UFV, moved to Langley, BC. Sara worked on the Intake Team for the Ministry of Children and Families as a Child Protection Social Worker for over 20 years in Surrey.
She loved helping children and stayed many a night sending an immediate to Afterhours. She put others before herself and made a lot of good friends at the ministry.
Sara was always willing to truly listen to coworkers and friends and give honest advice. Sara was fond of saying, "We all have a choice". She took what life threw at her and overcame it with class.
She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor.
Sara was truly one of a kind and will live in our hearts forever.
