Sarah Helen Brookes

February 18, 1931 - September 24, 2018
Helen Brookes (nee Proctor) died peacefully on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 87 years of age. She is survived by husband Arthur, daughter Victoria (Brian Harding), sons Terry (Diane), James (Vera) and Scott (Nina), 10 grandchildren and 6 1/2 great grandchildren. Born in Calgary, Alberta to James and Sally Proctor. She had a special loving bond with her brother Jim Burnett (Edna) and his family.

Helen was only 5 when her mother died and there were some tough times, but she learned to look at the positive side of life and was a loving and cheerful woman. Her family and friends have so many fond memories of the love and support that she generously gave.

There will be a celebration of her life at Agassiz United Church, 6860 No. 7 Highway, Agassiz, B.C. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm.

Donations may be made in her memory to the BC Children's Hospital and SOS Children's Village B.C.
