Agassiz elementary secondary school (AESS) hosted a Grade 9 girls basketball tournament last week.
AESS had three close losses in the event.
Player of the game awards were won by Walde, Megan McCallum, Rionna Vanderwyk, and Ashlyn Lowe.
Abbotsford Christian school won the final 35-33 over Khalsa school. Unity Christian school finished fourth place in the event.
