Recreational pickle ball players, Tim Haner and Mike Buckley, from the Agassiz Fitness Centre won the silver medal in Mens Doubles at the Byrne Creek Leos Charity PickleBall tournament in Burnaby last Saturday. The sanctioned event had a record number of 178 players in total.
Tim and Mike worked their way through the semi-finals to the Gold Medal match late in the day, winning the silver medal to the delight of the entire Agassiz-Harrison PickleBall community. Agassiz-Harrison is now officially on the PickleBall Canada map.
