The Chilliwack-based Green Light Inline Hockey League (GLIHL) has cancelled its fall season.

Owner/operator Josh Schaper sent out an email to members Friday morning announcing the decision, which is partly due to COVID but also due to what he calls a family crisis.

“I apologize to everyone that has been waiting and looking forward to playing this season, along with any inconvenience this has caused,” Schaper wrote. “We had every intention of starting the season and were ready to launch, but this unforeseen matter will require a lot of my time and attention over the next several months.”

Schaper said GLIHL will be ready to fire up in the spring.
