With COVID restrictions easing up, the Optimist Fred Wellsby Junior Divot Golf Tournament is ready to tee off.

This year’s tourney includes six rounds at six local courses, all of them done with COVID safety protocols in effect.

Golfers aged 16 and under will start with a July 6 date at Chilliwack’s Kinkora Golf Course followed by a July 7 stop at Abbotsford’s Valley Golf Centre. They’ll hit the links at Abbotsford’s Fraser Glen Golf Course July 8 and Chilliwack’s Cheam Mountain Golf Course (Chilliwack) July 12 before playing the last open round July 13 at Cultus Lake Golf Course.

Players should be able to score 100 or better on a par three course and it is double par pick up for 10 and under golfers. For more information and/or to pre-register email glendastandeven@gmail.com
