This is the summer to learn how to sail.

The Cultus Lake Sailing Club says there is still room in their adult weekend course, running July 12 to 14, as well as the kids day camp that runs July 22-26.

The Cultus Lake Sailing Club offers summer sailing courses for both adults and children/youth. The kids’ course is a week-long day camp where the focus is fun and safety while learning the basics of sailing. All courses cover water safety, terminology, knots and sailing skills, and are taught by Sail Canada certified coaches.

The public is also invited to meet and greet the club at Cultus Lake, at Main Beach, on July 18, starting at 6 p.m.
