Businesses and crafters are gearing up for the much-awaited Spring Craft and Business Fair, scheduled this year for Saturday, April 6, at the Riverlodge Recreation Centre. The event is an opportunity for local enterprises and artisans to showcase their talents and products to local buyers.

The fair is a celebration of the community’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Organisers are inviting participants from various sectors, including home-based businesses, handcrafted items, and other local businesses to ensure a wide variety of offerings from a broad spectrum of exhibitors.

For those interested in participating, the District of Kitimat has announced an application deadline of March 11, with a stipulation that late applications might still be considered if space permits.

Exhibitors and food vendors are required to pay $60 for a space, which includes a table and two exhibitor passes. For businesses that don’t fall into the craft or food categories, the fee is set at $80.

The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., offering a full day for visitors to explore and engage with the exhibits.
