To celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, Boating BC Association has identified 150 of the most scenic and picturesque boating locations the province has to offer.
Ranging from lakes and rivers on Vancouver Island to Northern B.C. and the Southern Interior, the 150 destinations listed encompass every region in the province and are only a snapshot of the thousands of lakes and rivers in British Columbia.
Of the 150 lakes listed, Harrison Hot Springs, has grabbed a spot as one of the most beautiful lakes in the province.
As many things go there can be only one, and the number one boating locations will be determined, and unveiled through social media. Voters will have the opportunity to go online through social media and vote for their favourite location through online polls on Boating BC’s social media pages.
“We are so excited to celebrate Canada’s 150th this year with our list of the most breathtaking boating
locations,” said Boating BC President, Don Prittie. “There is no better way to see Canada than on a boat, and this year, we’re giving British Columbians the chance to determine which spot should be crowned the
‘2017 Top Boating Destination in B.C.’
With an astounding 27, 000 kilometres of coastlines and thousands of lakes and rivers across the province of, British Columbia is one of the best boating destinations not only in Canada, but around the world.
