Dr. Jack Allen Freeman, born

November 18, 1919, passed away peacefully in Agassiz on July 18, 2005 with his family at his side. Jack married Dorris on April 1,1940 while he was on staff at the Army Training Center in Vernon. While Jack attended UBC they spent a few summers in Agassiz and then made it their permanent home in 1948. Employed at the Agricultural Farm for over 40 years, Jack also sat as an alderman for 18 years and

volunteered countless hours for the Agricultural Association, Canadian Red Cross and the Legion, among others. Jack is predeceased by his loving wife Dorris, sons David and Gerald and four brothers. He is survived by daughters Vicki and Lynne, 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A celebration of Jack's life will be held at 1:00 pm on August 6 at the Agassiz Agricultural Hall. Heart and Stroke Foundation.
