One week until Fall Fair time, and it’s all coming together.
The organizers of this year’s Agassiz Fall Fair and Corn Festival announced via social media that the parade has been given the all-clear.
New this year, parade participants will need to purchase a gate pass to assist in recouping losses over the past year. Advance gate passes for ages 12 and up are $5 and are available at the following Agassiz locations:
- Ace Hardware
- Agassiz Produce
- Allenby’s Farm Store
- Cabin Fever Junction Bakery
- Holly Tree Florists
- Hub Insurance
- Prospera Credit Union
- Shopper’s Drug Mart
Ages 11 and under are free.
The fair organizers are looking for volunteers to assist at the fair beer gardens on Friday and Saturday. Tasks may include setup/tear down, drink ticket sales, stocking, emergency exit gate keeping. Shifts are two hours minimum, but more hours are optional.
The beer gardens will be open Friday 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday night will feature live music by Dog Daze.
