The sun sets west of Chilliwack in this shot captured by photographer Darlene Million. “Red sky at night, sailor’s delight” refers to a reddish sunset as seen in the clouds of this picture. The colour comes from a high concentration of dust particles, which could indicate high pressure and stable air from the west. In short, it’s a somewhat reliable harbinger of good weather to come.
