Blustery, frigid weather did nothing to extinguish the bright holiday spirit in Agassiz on Saturday (Dec.3) night. Winter Night Lights was in full swing this past weekend.
Local families enjoyed lights displays all along Pioneer Avenue and in Pioneer Park, leading up to the Agassiz-Harrison Museum, where Santa Claus himself visited with dozens of children. The cheeky Grinch was seen stalking around and causing a bit of silly trouble for the kids.
Other events included the Prospera Mini Passenger Train, airbrush tattoos and live music from Richard Tichleman and Mercer Munn.
For those who might have missed out on last weekend’s fun, worry not. Winter Night Lights’ special events continue this Saturday, Dec. 10, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the light displays will be up until the end of the month.
