Liberation tulips, like the ones planted by Darlene Million, are in bloom now in time for the 75th anniversary of Dutch Liberation Day. These tulips were planted last fall as a commemorative gesture from the Netherlands to Canada for their contribution in ending World War II and freeing the Netherlands. Million’s father-in0law, Jim Million, was in the Perth Regiment of Straford, Ontario and was involved in the campaign.
