Tourism isn’t open just yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a little scenery.

Tourism Harrison threw their hat in the proverbial ring with a minute-long tour of Harrison Hot Springs as part of the #ExploreBCLater campaign encouraging tourism only after the pandemic has subsided.

The #ExploreBCLater campaign has appeared all over social media recently, sparking scenic tourism videos on Vancouver Island, Ucluelet, Tofino, Whistler and beyond. Destination B.C. appears to be the point of origin for the messages welcoming tourists back to the lovliest parts of the province – just not right now.

Harrison’s video shows off sweeping shots of fishing, golfing, First Nations drumming, wildlife, waterfalls and much more.

“Like you, we’re passionate about exploring B.C.,” the notice from HelloBC.com reads. “But now is not the time to travel. Please stay home and follow the advice of health authorities. DO your part now so we can all explore B.C. again later.”

The web page goes on to include useful information concerning the coronavirus pandemic, including symptoms, important phone numbers and various provincial and federal information sources for up-to-date situation reports.
