Advance voting nears 5,000 in Chilliwack-Kent

More than 380,000 voters have voted in advance across B.C.

The advance votes are rolling along in the Chilliwack-Kent riding.

According to updated statistics from Elections B.C., Chilliwack-Kent has had a total of 4,880 advance voters as of Monday afternoon. This is a little more than 11 per cent of the 43,698 total voters in the riding; there were approximately 7,200 vote-by-mail packages requested in the riding.

Across the province, 383,477 of the 3.48 million register voters have been identified as voting in advance. There are three days remaining in the advance voting stage.

Advance voting places will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time on the days they are open.

Agassiz Agricultural Association Hall (6800 Pioneer Avenue) – Open October 15 to 21

Rosedale United Church Hall (51351 Yale Road) – Open October 15 to 20

Tzeachten Community Hall (45855 Promontory Road) – Open October 15 to 18 and October 20 to 21
