Dear Editor,
Sadly, another disappointment. Will this council ever move forward in their task to serve the people of Harrison Hot Springs? Personally, I am embarrassed by all of you.
It boggles my mind why you would run for the position you hold if you cannot get along with others. Not only are you expected to work through tough issues, putting your personal agenda on hold, you are also getting paid to work in the best interest of our community.
It is humiliating and disappointing to all who elected you to work for us. A meeting adjourned due to backbiting and power struggles is crazy. Where is the respect for differences, and letting these differences inspire a vision for the future?
I honestly woke up on Thanksgiving morning thinking about this ineffectual group, and the lack of apparent skill set they came to this opportunity with.
Stop thinking of yourselves, and think of all of the people in this village waiting to see serious issues get addressed in collaboration. Please reflect on this situation and lay down your self serving ways, move forward for the greater good.
If not, do the right thing and resign, this environment is toxic to all of us.
