NBA basketball star Kobe Bryant of the L.A. Lakers passed on Sunday, Jan. 26 2020.
This Agassiz local once lived down in L.A. and has been to a few L.A. Lakers games when Kobe wore the No.8 jersey then the No. 24 jersey. While down in L.A., I met up with some Canadians. We used to go to the NHL L.A. Kings games whenever a Canadian hockey team was in town.
Kobe Bryant was quite the basketball player. He took the L.A. Lakers to five NBA championships. He turned the Lakers into a dynasty by winning three championships in a row.
On and off the basketball court, Kobe Bryant will be very much missed. He had quite an impact on the game.
That’s how the little out-of-the-way place like Agassiz is affected by the passing of Kobe Bryant.
