On behalf of the Friends of the Dykes, I would like to thank Kent Council for their initiative in opening/improving four dyke sections for non-motorized public use during 2021. In doing so, the District of Kent has added 6.1 kilometres of trails to its trail network, for which we, and I am sure many other Kent citizens are grateful, who are using the dyke trails in increasing numbers.
After the success of the first phase, we look forward to seeing more kilometers of dyke trails added to the District of Kent trail network for non-motorized public use.
