2 weeks of now new COVID-19 cases for Agassiz-Harrison: BCCDC

COVID-19 cases reported in every other local health area in Fraser Health

For the second week straight, Agassiz-Harrison reports no new cases of COVID-19 in the local health area.

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control states that between June 26 and July 2, there were zero new cases of COVID-19 in Agassiz-Harrison. Agassiz-Harrison is the only local health area in the Fraser Health region that had no new cases.

This marks the first time this year there have been multiple weeks without new COVID-19 cases in the local health area. The last time Agassiz-Harrison recorded more than one consecutive COVID-free week would have been right around this time last year.

There have been 230 cases of COVID-19 in Agassiz-Harrison since the beginning of 2022.

In terms of percentages, there has been no significant change in vaccination rates in any age group in Agassiz Harrison for several weeks.
