The Agassiz Speedway is getting some major sponsors for the 2024 racing season.

Lordco Auto Parts announced that they are the official sponsor for the Agassiz Speedway Street Stock Class for 2024.

“Supporting grassroots racing is in our DNA at Lordco Auto Parts. We have supported many racers over the years at Agassiz Speedway, and beyond through the ranks of NASCAR and the Daytona 500,” stated vice president of marketing Sarah Durant. “We are very proud to be associated with this fan-favorite class at Agassiz Speedway!”

Director of the Street Stock Class Chirs Thimer said he was “thrilled” to have Lordco sponsor them.

“This division is a true fan favorite, just like Lordco,” Thimer said. “I’ve used them both professionally and when I’m getting parts for my race car. They are in every community we race in British Columbia and are the complete auto parts solution across western Canada.”

Bold Connections Drift Alliance has also come aboard as a corporate sponsor, hosting 15 drifting events every year for the next four years.

Agassiz Speedway has offered local racing action since the summer of 1971. It is located at 5045 Cemetery Road, and the first race of the new season is slated for April 27.
