Applications open for grants from Kent-Harrison Foundation

The Kent-Harrison Foundation is now accepting grant applications for local charities and non-profits.

Applications are being accepted in a number of categories, including arts and culture, family and youth, education, recreational and environment, health and welfare and seniors.

A total of $5,100 in grants were distributed last year to three recipients:

Harrison Festival Society ($2,000)

Agassiz-Harrison Historical Society ($2,000)

Agassiz-Harrison Aquanauts Club ($1,100)

The Kent-Harrison foundation was founded in 1994 as a collection of funds forming a permanent endowment for charitable purposes.
