Fraser-Cascade School District 78 has made some changes in local school administration.
The board appointed Gord Johnson as principal of Kent Elementary School. Johnson has worked under the acting principal title for the past few months.
“His assignment as principal will provide stability and a positive direction for Kent Elementary School in the years ahead,” reads a letter from Superintendent Balan Moorthy.
Anita Swinford has been appointed vice principal at Agassiz Elementary-Secondary School. Swinford has worked at AESS for several years and served as acting vice principal before being officially appointed.
“She will be an outstanding addition to the Fraser-Cascade admin team,” Moorthy wrote.
