Kent, Harrison Hot Springs council meetings resume Jan. 9, 16

Online attendance an option for both

Now that the holiday season has come to a close, councillors at the District of Kent and in Harrison Hot Springs are set to resume meetings.

The District of Kent’s next council meeting is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. at Municipal Hall (7170 Cheam Avenue). Meetings are conducted in-person, but there is also the option to attend online through Microsoft Teams. There is no need to sign up or sign in to a Microsoft account to attend the meeting. To get the link for upcoming meetings, check the district’s website at kentbc.ca for registration instructions, agendas and more.

The Harrison Hot Springs Village Council will be back in session again starting Monday, Jan 16 at 7 p.m. at Memorial Hall (290 Esplanade Avenue). Like the district, meetings are held in person, but there is an option to attend the meetings via Zoom. Registration and instructions are available at harrisonhotsprings.ca. In addition to in-person and live online attendance, those interested can see past meetings on the village’s YouTube channel, where Zoom footage is typically uploaded within a few days of the meeting.
