A man was stabbed multiple times in the Seabird Island community on Wednesday, May 22.
According to the Agassiz RCMP, officers and paramedics were on the scene at the 8400 block of Sth,I;Tsem Drive in Seabird Island in the late evening. The victim was stabbed in the back several times and had a laceration on his arm.
The victim was flown to hospital. The wounds were not life-threatening and the victim has since been discharged from hospital.
The stabbing suspect is at-large, but the RCMP states there is no threat to public safety. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
