The skies might seem a bit hazier near Agassiz this morning.

The B.C. Wildfire Service indicates there are four wildfires burning east of Agassiz and five more burning east of Chilliwack Lake.

The closes wildfire is near Mount Ling, north of Chilliwack Lake, sparked by lightning on Aug. 23. The three other wildfires, all three of which were also reported on Aug. 23, are fairly small, each sparked by lightning and all three being under control.
