UPDATE: Woman seriously injured in Thursday morning crash near Harrison

Agassiz firefighters extracted the woman from the wreckage

A tw0-vehicle crash sent one woman to the hospital with serious injuries on Thursday (Jan. 11) morning.

According to Sgt. Mike Sargent, spokesperson for the Agassiz RCMP, a pickup truck struck another vehicle that was in the wrong lane on Hot Springs Road near Golf Road. The Agassiz Fire Department extracted one woman from the vehicle, and she was transported to hospital to treat serious injuries.

Hot Springs Road was closed in both directions for a short time. Sargent indicated the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
