Voters in Harrison, District of Kent prepare for Election Day this weekend

Election Day is practically upon us once again.

There are several candidates vying for seats on Harrison Hot Springs and District of Kent councils, on the Fraser Valley Regional District board and the Fraser-Cascade School Board of Trustees. Voters who haven’t cast their ballot ahead of Saturday (Oct.15) have most of the day to vote for their next representatives.

Voters in the District of Kent will cast their ballots at the Agassiz Agricultural Hall (6800 Pioneer Avenue) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There will be special voting opportunities on Friday, Oct. 14, for qualified voters and residents of the following facilities:

Hazelnut Grove (2008 McCaffrey Road): 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Dogwood Manor (7284 Morrow Road): 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Glenwood Seniors Community/Logan Manor (1458 Glenwood Drive): 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Agassiz Seniors Community (1525 MacKay Crescent) 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In Harrison Hot Springs, voters can cast their ballots on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Harrison Hot Springs Elementary at 501 Hot Springs Road.
