A 27-year-old Boston Bar man wanted by police on assault charges has been captured.

On Tuesday, Nov. 27, a B.C. wide warrant was issued for the arrest of Mykel Eric Natowcappo, 27, for ‘assault causing bodily harm.’

Police asked for the public’s help yet warned them not to try to apprehend him, instead they were urged to call 911 immediately.

Natowcappo has now been taken into custody, a Nov. 29 news release stated.

He is described by police as an aboriginal man with brown hair and brown eyes, weighing 64 kg (141 lbs.) and 175 centimetres (5’9”) tall.
