The Centennial Park playground and a portion of the trail will be closed for about two days due to tree removal on private property.
According to a notice from the District of Kent, trees are being removed on private property near the Agassiz Agricultural Hall on the west side of Centennial Park. As a safety precaution, portions of the park and trail will be closed to the public. Tree removal is schdeulded for Monday (May 17) and Tuesday (May 18).
