The candidates for Chilliwack and Chilliwack-Kent will face off 2020-style tonight (Oct. 14).
Online.
The Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce is hosting two 2020 Provincial All Candidates Meetings via their YouTube channel. The Chilliwack riding’s meeting will run from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Then there will be a 15-minute break. The Chilliwack-Kent riding’s meeting will run from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
The public will have a chance to engage with the candidates with the help of a website called sli.do.
To submit a question, hit the link above and use the event code #chwkdebate (no account is needed). After selecting the correct riding from the top left corner, you can submit a question that could be posed to the candidates.
As of 3:30 p.m. there were already several questions posted for the hopefuls.
The Chamber has already posted brief introduction videos with many of the candidates in both ridings on their YouTube channel.
