The District of Kent is providing sandbags as more rain approaches the Fraser Valley.
The District announced sand and bags are available at the parking lot of the Community Recreation and Cultural Centre for those who still need them to help protect against potential flooding.
The Village of Harrison Hot Springs thanked Agassiz Ready Mix for providing two truckloads of sand for residents to load into sandbags within an hour-and-a-half of the village’s call.

“We also want to thank the volunteers who arrived on site with shovels and helping hands to assist their neighbours,” the village wrote in a Facebook post late last week. “This kind of community spirit and unity is what makes Harrison Hot Springs so great!”
