‘Where is My Daughter’ to film in Agassiz next week

CMW Autumn Productions specializes in TV moves of multiple genres

The streets of Agassiz are to be the backdrop of yet another upcoming movie.

Polling letters from the District of Kent went out on Tuesday (Feb. 15) to affected filming locations along Pioneer Avenue and Cheam Avenue as CMW Autumn Productions prepares to film “Where is My Daughter?”

Filming will take place on Pioneer Venue between Highway 9 and Heath Road and along Cheam Avenue between Highway 9 and Park Street. Filming will last for 12 hours on Wednesday, Feb. 23, between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. There may be film crews present before and after this time to help restore the filming area or make preparations.

There will be temporary parking stalls along Pioneer Avenue for picture car and filming equipment as well as temporary parking at the 7036 and 7136 Pioneer Avenue parking lots.

The scenes being filmed are exterior with actor dialogue.

There have been no details released concerning the film’s plot or stars. CMW Autumn Productions is credited with a number of TV movies of various genres. These include “Love on the Road” (Erin Cahill, Jesse Hutch, Francesca Bianchi) and “A Mother’s Fury. ” (Chelsea Hobbs, Stephanie Cleough, James Neate).

The Agassiz-Harrison area has served as the backdrop for several recent productions, including Netflix’s “The Mother,” starring pop icon Jennifer Lopez.
