A young girl has sustained minor injuries after a vehicle collided with her bike on Wednesday, April 6.
Sgt. Mike Sargent, spokesperson for the Agassiz RCMP, confirmed RCMP responded to a collision that occurred early Wednesday afternoon on Highway 9 in Agassiz. The girl was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The crash remains under investigation.
Motorists are reminded to exercise special caution near road crossings. The speed limit within a large portion of the Agassiz townsite is 50 km/h.
