Greg was born October 28, 1955 and passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023, far too early.
He grew up in Agassiz and left for Alberta with a friend shortly after graduation. They were the first people from Agassiz to head to the oil fields to work in Drayton Valley; several more Agassiz residents followed in the years after.
After returning to BC, he spent over 2 decades working as a Greensman in the film industry (Hallmark movies, Once Upon A Time, Stargate, X-Files and more).
In his spare time he spent many happy days fishing the local rivers; the Vedder his favourite.
He is survived by his partner Debbie, his mother Mollie Sand, brothers Les (Donna) and Chris (Maureen), and sisters Marlene and Debi (Martin), nephews Shaun, Kyle and Nico, nieces Leeanne, Meagan, Katie, Sawyer, Jocelyn and Zoey.
