In loving memory ~
Our one and only Harry has returned to his Maker. And he'll be wanting a word about the warranty. Harry's original toolkit may have been short a piece or two, but the life he built with it was a tribute to his ingenuity and resilience.
Over his sixty-three years, Harry charmed countless strangers into his ever-expanding family, and helped each of us discover the fuller meanings of patience, friendship and love.
He lent us a hand and made us laugh. He awed us with his huge persona and his bottomless generosity. And he touched our hearts with his limits and his simple need to belong.
Harry found kindness and acceptance in many places, but nowhere more than in Agassiz. A big, loud shout-out to the place that he called home and to everyone who found a moment for him. And thanks, Harry. You were all that and a bag of chips!
A celebration of Harry's life will be held in Agassiz in the new year.
