TeBRINKE, Hendrik Jan (John)
Passed away peacefully on April 18, 2006 following a short illness. John was born in Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands on August 19, 1920. He emigrated to Canada in 1950 where he settled in Matsqui and began working on a dairy farm. In 1952 he moved to Agassiz to work at the Research Station. During this time John started a small Jersey dairy farm. On May 28, 1953 John married Christina Haan. Following the marriage the couple moved to the farm on Hamilton Road and continued to farm until 1973. During this period they had six children; John (Anne), Henry (Jan), Alex (Justine), Paul (Rose), Neal (Natalie), Krista (Paul). John is survived by his wife Christina and all his children as well as 16 grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild. John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A funeral service was held Saturday April 22, 2006 at Agassiz Christian Reformed Church, Pastor Rudy Ouwehand officiating. Interment at Valley View Cemetery. Arrangements in care of
