In loving memory ~
Krystyna Lebedynski, aged 88, passed away on December 20, 2023, at Glenmore Lodge Care Home in Kelowna, BC, in the loving arms of her daughter, Helen. Krystyna is survived by her only child, Helen (John) Crowther, and her two grandchildren, Ben and Julia. Krystyna was born in Goszczewice, Poland. She moved to Warsaw when she was about 20, where she met her husband, John. They married in 1956 and immigrated to Canada in 1959. Their daughter was born in Portage, MB, where they resided until they moved to Chilliwack in 1967. Krystyna last worked at the CFB as a kitchen server for 20 years before she retired to enjoy tending her vegetable & floral gardens, visit family, and appreciate outings with her many friends. Krystyna was a kind, loving woman who made everyone feel welcomed the moment they entered her home. She will be cherished and dearly missed. A Graveside Service for family and close friends was held Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a reception at the Eldorado Resort.
