June 24, 1950 - January 28, 2023
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness to announce the passing of Ralph Russell Maron on January 28, 2023, at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Ralph was born June 24, 1950, in White Mouth, Manitoba. He moved to Chilliwack with his parents in 1967.
Ralph was employed at York Farms / Fraser Valley Foods for 30 years. He met his wife Kathy at York Farms in 1969. They were married in 1971. They purchased their Hobby Farm in 1987 in Greendale. Ralph dedicated so much hard work to the farm.
In 2006 Ralph and Kathy purchased their cabin and property in Princeton. This was their retreat with their family. Ralph was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and quadding with his family, as well as antique collecting. Ralph was so devoted to his family.
Ralph is survived by wife Kathy, his children Charity (Doug), Heidi (Colin), and Lance, grandchildren Seth, Mykaila, Layla, Kashton, Ryder, Teagan and Kelsey. He is also survived by his sister Faye (Ron), and many nieces and nephews.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Hildegard, and his brother Ernie.
Celebration of Life to be announced and held at a later date.
