Editor:

Words cannot adequately express my heartfelt appreciation for the amazing, dedicated people we have in our community.

The genuine compassion of the paramedics, fire department personnel and RCMP officers was demonstrated in spades when my brother, George Francis Anderson, passed suddenly from diabetic complications. The emergency responders and police officers who attended were beyond amazing in their impressive, efficient and kind efforts to assist and in the genuine concern they expressed for the well-being of all involved. Their outreach and care helped greatly to ease the pain and trauma of a very challenging situation.

Clearly demonstrated also was the fact that as a community, we are blessed beyond belief to have such dedicated, compassionate persons serving the needs of the community in various capacities. We are so fortunate and privileged to have them in our midst.

A special thanks also to the many in the community at large who have reached out to express their sympathy and support, and to Harold (Hal) Partington and Sylvia Breckenridge, who were on site and were incredible with their hands-on help.

With utmost respect and gratitude,

Eleonora (Taffy) Anderson

Agassiz
