Dragon boaters fare well at festivals

Results from the Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Club latest festivals

The Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Club was very busy this past weekend.

The Mavericks attended the Vernon Dragon Boat Festival placing third overall bringing home a bronze medal.

Victoria Dragon Boat Festival was the destination for the wRECking Crew, Thunderstrokers and Crusaders. The wRECking Crew and Thunderstrokers made it to the Diamond Division finishing with times of 2:08 and 2:11 respectively, coming in 16th and 18th overall out of 58 mixed teams. The Crusaders competed in the Jade division finishing with a time of 2:14.
