A multi-course dinner, fine music and unbeatable scenery are on the menu for Dinner on the Farm at Earthwise Agassiz.

Dinner on the Farm takes place Aug. 6 from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. at the Earthwise Agassiz campus located at 6031 Golf Road. The open-air dining experience starts off with a tour of the farm, where the food is grown. East Coast blues artist Johnny Never will perform while guests enjoy appetizers before sitting down to a multi-course meal by Chef Derek Bothwell. The meal will incorporate as many ingredients grown on Earthwise Agassiz land as possible to highlight local ingredients and cuisine. Courses include beet tartare, seared wild salmon and berry tart.

Since 2015, Earthwise Agassiz has worked to restore riparian and wetland ecosystems in the Agassiz-Harrison area. The 58-acre site of Earthwise Agassiz also includes interpretive nature trails and an organic learning farm complete with a 1910 farmhouse.
