I was made aware of a driver sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a rollover crash on Monday morning. Though the vehicle flipped on its side, the driver made it out relatively unscathed, thanks in no small part to our intrepid team of emergency responders here in Agassiz-Harrison.

Imagine you invited 100 people over for dinner. Now, it’s really hard to know what everyone’s going to want to eat with only five people, let alone 100. So you get this brilliant idea to invite them all to a meeting ahead of time to decide what to eat; everyone gets their say.

Those who have seen the discourse on some local Facebook groups know that local politics can get petty on occasion. I won’t go into the specifics of the near-constant praising, campaigning and mudslinging, suffice it to say that there are several reasons you may vote for one candidate over another.

The heat this summer and last summer has been unusual
